▶︎▶︎ YOUTH PROGRAMS
Not Just Training. Development.
Most gyms put kids through the same workout and call it “sports performance.” We don’t.
At Breakaway, every athlete trains in a structured, age-appropriate program designed to build real athletic ability from the ground up — speed, strength, coordination, agility, and the confidence that comes with all of it.
We use the Parisi Youth Training System, a methodology with a 30-year track record of developing athletes at every level — from youth leagues all the way to the pros.
EVERY ATHLETE HAS A STARTING POINT. THIS IS YOURS.
Three structured programs. One proven system. Designed to develop athletes from their first season all the way through high school competition.
PROGRAM 1: JUMP START I
Age: 7–9
Jump Start I — Building the Foundation
The most important thing a young athlete can do at ages 7–9 isn’t specialize. It’s develop.
Jump Start I gives athletes the physical tools they’ll use for the rest of their athletic lives — proper running mechanics, coordination, first-step quickness, and the confidence that comes from learning to move their body well.
Sessions are high-energy and age-appropriate. Coaches in this program are trained specifically to engage young athletes — making the work serious enough to matter and fun enough to stick.
What Jump Start I develops:
- Running technique and acceleration fundamentals
- Coordination and body control
- Bodyweight strength and mobility
- First-step quickness
- Injury prevention habits
- Confidence and self-esteem
PROGRAM 2: JUMP START II
Age: 10–11
Jump Start II — Building on the Basics
At 10–11, athletes are starting to see the gap between those who’ve trained and those who haven’t. Jump Start II closes that gap — and opens a new one in your athlete’s favor.
This program builds on the foundation set in Jump Start I with more speed work, more strength development, and an increased level of challenge. Athletes at this age can handle more — and our coaches know exactly how to push them.
What Jump Start II develops:
- Acceleration and top-speed mechanics
- Strength development through progressive training
- Multi-directional speed and agility
- Competitive drive and team accountability
- Injury prevention and movement quality
PROGRAM 3: TOTAL PERFORMANCE
Age: 12–15
Total Performance — Training with Purpose
Body: Ages 12–15 represent the most critical window in an athlete’s development. The strength, speed, and movement patterns built during these years carry forward for a lifetime of competition.
Total Performance is where serious athletes train. Programming at this level is broken into focused sessions — linear speed, change of direction, and strength — so athletes develop each quality intentionally and completely.
This is the program for athletes who play club sports, compete at the high school level, or want to. It’s also the program for athletes who just want to know what they’re capable of.
What Total Performance develops:
- Linear speed and acceleration mechanics
- Change of direction and multi-directional speed
- Upper and lower body strength for sport performance
- Speed endurance and conditioning
- Mental toughness and competitive mindset
